Full color images are perhaps the most direct method to convey the impact of CSM’s work. The Center’s computational resources, along with ICES’s Center for Computational Visualization, enable us to produce multidimensional renderings of our simulators and models. The pictures here are highly refined representations of subsurface processes, using the power of color to show changes, illustrate relationships and understand complex processes.
We hope you will use and enjoy this gallery, not only for its scientific and educational value but also for the sheer beauty of these modeled snapshots from beneath the Earth’s surface.
